Sketchbook 001

I love to draw, I always have. Sometimes my sketches are a way to explore ideas for a new sculpt or project, or they form the foundation of a painted illustration piece. Sometimes they never make it beyond my sketchbook and often end up getting lost and forgotten. I recently decided to give my sketches a life of their own and create these Sketchbook pieces. Some of them are the germs that became other, more finished pieces you can see in my folio. Others lay dormant. Biding their time before I turn them into something!

I have lots of old sketches I recently found, and a nice new Epson scanner so there's more to come!
