Santa Carla Video City - Movies to Own!

In trying to fill my video store project with a sufficient number of unique VHS titles, I've been working on as many Procreate illustrations as possible. Because my process of creating AOV style layers (for ease of tweaking) can be quite time consuming, I've been making an effort to work a little looser and keep things simple. Taking inspiration from movies I grew up with, then creating a simple spin on them and working something up in 8 hours or less.

I've more or less achieved it with these illustrations here (although some did take more than 8 hours) and I'm pleased with how they've turned out, especially when rendered as brand new shrink-wrapped slipcases!
